I defended my doctoral dissertation in political science at the University of British Columbia in June 2019, and am now a Post Graduate Research Scholar at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.
My research focuses on health policymaking in China and authoritarian deliberation/consultation. My work was published in peer reviewed journals, such as The China Journal and Governance.
I received the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship and the Chiang Chingkuo Dissertation Fellowship. I hold an undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies (with High Distinction) from the University of Toronto, and two MAs in history and political science from the University of British Columbia.
